Now taking applications to be my 'Real ID' friend
As we all knew before the implementation of Real ID being on my friends list was a privilege, some people focused their entire time spent on WoW
trying to be on my friends list but few were qualified enough for the position. With the glory of being on my friends list came a single glaring flaw; nobody could see that you had mastered everything this game had to offer. Thanks to Blizzard introducing Real ID that flaw is no longer applicable as you'll not only be able to brag to lowly peasants who don't appear on my friends list that you're on my but that you'll be amongst the server's best...correction, the game's best when you see my Real ID message change. If you've excelled far enough above the average player I may even mention you in my Real ID message but if you're reading this I wouldn't get my hopes up as you required the lowering of my standards to even be considered to join WoW's elite on my friend's list.
Before you submit an application it's important to understand that the submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance into the next stage of determining whether or not you're qualified. I'll be blunt, most people applying will not move on so don't take it personal that you're average at best and haven't accomplished anything remotely important in WoW or in real life and will be looked down upon by not only your peers but the people that transcend the quality of play of you and those peers.
The application is simple; post a 200 to 500 word essay in this thread on why you feel you'd make a good addition to my friends list. Bonus points will be given for begging and/or bribing though those bonus points are irrelevant as doing either will have you immediately knocked out of contention as resorting to either suggest you're not at a skill level to become a part of my friends list without those tactics.
Good luck to all, except most of you reading this because you won't make it to my friends list and simply addressing you with this post disgusts me. _________________ Arguing on the internet is like running in the Special Olympics.
